First and foremost,

I am here to tell you that your detail flat-lay is unique to YOU, and you are free to incorporate what ever you choose!

I simply want to spark creativity and vision for what your wedding day details could look like!

Let's start with an example...

The photos below are from one of my sweet couple's, Kalton and Gracie, wedding. They included a few staple details (wedding invitation, wedding rings, bride's shoes, earrings), but they also included a couple of very special items.

Take a look at the middle picture. Kalton kept the movie ticket from his and Gracie's first date and gave it to her as part of her wedding day gift. I mean, cue the tears! When you thought it could not get any more sentimental, they chose to incorporate their grandparents beautifully worn bibles into their wedding day. THIS. This is why I love wedding day details.

If you are a list person like me, this is for you!

I have compiled a list of items you could use in your flat lay.

But remember, you are free to use whatever your heart desires!

Final Thoughts:

In my experience, most photographers choose to take flat lay photos and all other detailed photos upon their arrival. To be best prepared for your photographer's arrival, have all your designated details in a box in the bride's getting ready location.

PRO TIP: appoint a bridesmaid to know the whereabouts of your details so she can give it to your photographer!
